Maggie joined the Oxford Office as an Architectural Assistant in 2013. She completed her ‘MArchD Architecture’ at Oxford Brookes University, specialising in Sustainable Building, Design and Performance, with a particular interest in Sustainable Communities and Zero Carbon Building. She has been a fully qualified Architect since 2017.
Maggie entered the field of Architecture as a mature student after following a career in other areas of the built environment: namely as a Civil Engineer in Highway Design and Urban Infrastructure, both within Local Government; then as a Building Surveyor and Estimator as part of a Contractors’ Team. The experience gained on her career path has proved an invaluable resource in the holistic approach to design development. Maggie is currently working with BIM and is very keen to promote interdisciplinary design in practice. Maggie is MEB Design’s “Inclusivity Champion”.
Maggie was born and raised in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The Shropshire Hills have been a big part of her life; walking the hills and seeing the views across the landscape continue to be a source of inspiration. Maggie also enjoys Contemporary Art, Traditional Crafts, Photography, Travel, and Camping.
