Sadiqa is an architect and urban designer who studied at various London universities and earned an MSc in Building and Urban Design in Development with Merit at UCL. Sadiqa’s architectural interests lie in sustainable projects that benefit the community at large and that have a positive social impact. Her portfolio in practice and freelancing comprise schemes in education, residential, healthcare and community sectors, including designing and fundraising for a girls’ school reconstruction in Haiti and research projects in Delhi and Bangkok. Sadiqa is a Mosaic School Mentor for The Prince’s Trust, a volunteer for MWC’s School Speaker Programme, RIBA Student Mentor, and Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes.
Outside of work she organises professional networking events for Muslim women and enjoys watching football and travelling (aided by family located globally) which helps her appreciate the diversity and sensitivity of many cultures and lifestyles.
