BLOG: MEB Design supporting the next generation

    Posted on 18th January 2018

In December 2017 Charles Darby, Director at MEB Design, was interviewed by two French Architecture students (Lea Gradski and Claire Guillot) from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Strasbourg.

To see the interviews about MEB Design’s approach to “Sustainability”, his “Favourite Project”, and “Model Making” click on these links.

French Architecture students are obliged to learn English as part of their course, and these interviews were an assignment from their 3rd Year English module.

At MEB Design we also regularly mentor Oxford Brookes Architecture Students and take on School Work Experience Students as well as Part 1 and Part 2 Stage Employees.

Charles Darby is an Examiner and Course Leader on the RIBA Studio (Office-Based Exam) as well as an Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.

We believe that this is all part of our role in the industry, helping to nurture the next generation, and this is also one of the four principles of our Corporate Social Responsibility policy.
