Nora is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, who graduated from Sheffield Hallam University where she studied Architecture and Environmental Design. There she had the opportunity to really explore her interest in environmental design and where the future of architecture is headed. She is also particularly interested in community and participatory design and architecture that builds from the ground up, serving to grow, nourish and serve its local community.
Before joining MEB Design, Nora worked in Sheffield at a social enterprise architectural practice, further reinforcing her interest in community architecture and paving the way to her eventually joining MEB Design. During her time at university she was a shortlisted finalist for the Young Designers’ Award at the IABSE Future of Design Conference 2017, as well as participating in numerous construction projects including Gabriel Tang’s grid-shell pavilion.
During her free time Nora is an avid photographer, explorer and designer, and enjoys turning everyday scenes and items into creative and fun tributes to how beauty can be found even in the mundane.
