Mina joined MEB Design in October 2015 as an RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant. Mina undertook her studies at Oxford Brookes University where she also completed her PhD. Her research looked at what affects individuals to cultivate edible plants on buildings. Before undertaking research in Architecture, Mina completed an MSc in Sustainable Building, where she developed a particular interest in the role of vegetation integrated with the built environment and its contribution to the future sustainability of cities.
Mina joined the field of Architecture with a passion for environmental design and designing healthier places for people to live. Her research and design interests are underpinned by economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Interests outside work include walking and cycling around cities, which she feels is a great way to explore them. She also enjoys experimenting with recipes and playing strategic board games.
