MEB Design have carried out several projects at Wimbledon Congregational Church since 2012. These works have encompassed the provision of toilets, level access, a study room, and most recently the construction of a mezzanine floor, which has provided a multi-function space used by groups such as ‘building blocks’, homework club, Sunday school etc. The cumulative effect of these works has given the church a greatly improved usability (given today’s needs) than the 1950’s built building could provide. Future proposals include the construction of an extension to provide meeting rooms and storage.
