MEB Design was appointed by PHP Group to create the fit-out design of Kilburn Park Medical Centre. The centre is located within Countryside Properties’ Peel Place Development Block, a mixed-use residential development in Brent, North West London. We were novated by the Contractor to assist delivering the scheme from RIBA Stage 5.

The scheme facilitates the relocation of Kilburn Park Medical Centre into a larger modern facility to deliver health care services for the local community. The design includes the internal fit-out across two floors with the staircases and bin store shared with the future occupier on the second floor.

To engage both street-facing facades and promote cross ventilation, the building features two ground-floor entrances. This design aligns with the Planners’ requirements for the broader development. A separate staff entrance is provided at the rear, with the shared main entrance at the front giving access to both the Medical Centre and the second floor unit.

On the ground floor, you will find treatment rooms, phlebotomy areas, and a care navigation zone, while the main reception and waiting room occupy the first floor. Consulting rooms, an interview room, counselling spaces, and a dedicated staff area with offices, a conference room, and staff facilities are also available on the first floor.

Choosing the right colours played a crucial role in the successful delivery of this scheme. We collaborated closely with the Medical Practice to ensure that the material finishes, fittings, and signage created an inviting, bright, and warm atmosphere for both staff and visitors alike.
