MEB Design were appointed by Assura HC for this new primary care facility for Dolphin House Surgery. The project involved the redevelopment of the existing Maltings building that had previously been converted into a Fire Brigade and Community Police Station.

Dolphin House Surgery is designed as a contemporary medical centre within Ware. The scheme includes a GP practice, Eastware Pharmacy and offices at first floor, providing a new focal point for health services in the area.

The three storey extension links with the existing former Maltings building at ground floor with an option to extend into the first floor and create additional surgical space as the need arises. A Pharmacy is provided at ground floor with a main entrance, waiting and consulting rooms. At first floor additional waiting, consult and treatment rooms are provided for with administrative offices and staff areas etc at second floor in the new extension.

MEB Design worked closely with the main contractor, M&E, structural, QS, and client team to deliver this successful project.
