MEB Design Architects were appointed to develop a strategic plan to upgrade the site of the non-operating hospital and build new and replacement facilities.

The work has taken place in 5 stages and is almost complete. The larger elements replaced a nursing wing and other work refurbished parts of the  buildings including the original Grade 2 listed house by Decimus Burton which now houses guest accommodation.
