Abingdon School is an independent day and boarding school for boys aged 11-18. MEB Design were appointed by the school to carry out a major reordering and relocation of departments across three buildings. The English, MFL, Maths, RS departments were relocated with Music and Drama being expanded within their existing buildings.

The brief was to create departmental identities as well as reconfiguring the circulation. Acoustic rafts were chosen to maintain the high ceilings while providing good acoustic performance. Good coordination with the design team and contractors for a project delivered in a short space of time over the summer was key to the success of the project.
